Maulana Azad National Urdu University Announces Admissions for Academic Year 2025-26

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), a Central University under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has officially released its admission notification for the academic year 2025-2026. The University is inviting online applications for a wide range of programs including Ph.D., Post-Graduate, Undergraduate, B.Tech, B.Ed., and various Diploma and Certificate courses.


According to the official announcement, the last date to submit online applications for programs through entrance test is May 13, 2025, while admissions through merit-based selection must be completed by June 4, 2025.

Admissions through entrance test include doctoral programs in disciplines such as Urdu, Arabic, English, Islamic Studies, Social Work, Computer Science, and others. Postgraduate offerings comprise MBA, M.Tech, M.Ed., and LLM, whereas undergraduate programs include B.Tech (Computer Science), B.Ed., and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.). Professional and technical diploma programs are also available.

Merit-based admissions cover M.A. and M.Sc. programs in various subjects, PG Diplomas, and part-time diploma and certificate courses in languages and Islamic Studies. Special skill-based programs in Interior Design and Fashion Technology are also offered at designated campuses.

Programs are available at the main campus in Hyderabad as well as regional centers in Lucknow, Srinagar, Bhopal, Darbhanga, and others. Polytechnic and teacher education colleges are also operational in multiple states including Telangana, Bihar, Karnataka, and Odisha.

MANUU mandates that applicants must have studied Urdu as a subject or medium of instruction at the 10th/12th/Graduation level, except for language-exempt programs.

Admissions to 4-Year Undergraduate Programs (4YUG) and Integrated Teacher Education Programs (ITEP) will be conducted via CUET-2025, and Teacher Education courses will be admitted through NCET-2025, both conducted by the National Testing Agency.
